Milanesa Recipe!

This is an original family recipe and my mom's favorite. This is a very traditional dish that you can find in almost all Argentinian restaurants. Every time we cook milanesas it reminds my mom of her family and culture of Argentina.

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. First, clean, and tenderize the meat.
  2. The more hammering time done means softer the meat will be be once cooked.
  3. Grab a bowl and crack 3 eggs. Add in mashed garlic, salt and pepper. Mix.
  4. Now, place the meat inside the bowl and leave to sit for ~10 minutes.
  5. Next, add a cup of cooking vegetable oil to a pot and let it begin to heat up.
  6. Grab another bowl, and place a hefty amount of bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons of orgeno. Mix.
  7. Carefully, begin to grab the meat one piece at a time and place on the bread crumb mixture. Make sure all places on the meat are covered before putting the piece inside the heated oil.
  8. Let each piece of meat sit in the heated oil until dark brown (BUT NOT BURNT!). Repeat process for all pieces of meat.
  9. Add bread crumbs, oregano, and oil as necessary.

¡Buen provecho!
