Ceviche de Pescado Recipe!
This is an original family recipe that my uncle makes all the time. It's his favorite dish served cold and takes great pride whenever he makes it.
Ingredients:
- Yellow lemons (~14)
- Purple onions (2)
- Garlic (2tbsp)
- Ginger (1tbsp)
- Salt (1tbsp)
- Pepper (1tbsp)
- 1 or 2 normal green jalapeño
- 1 red hot jalapeño
- 2lbs of raw fish (TIP: Use a non-fatty fish, either cod or tilapia)
Steps:
- Squeeze all lemons into a big bowl.
- Cut the purple onions in strands and add to the bowl.
- Now, mix all condiments well into the bowl.
- Later, wash the fish, cut the fish and jalapeños into 1 inch squared pieces.
- Mix contents well!
- Place plastic wrap over bowl and make it as airtight as possible.
- Place the bowl into the fridge and let sit for 24 hours.
- Serve this dish cold.
